The Dairy
Sleeps 2
1 Bedroom
The Dairy, as the name suggests, was originally the diary to Chestnut Farm, and was the source of both the milk and cheese produced here – parts of the original cheese-press are to be found across the Farm. It has been sympathetically converted into a secluded property, and retains many of its distinctive original features including beams, an exposed stone face to the chimney breast and beautiful arched windows to the bedroom.
The cottage is set within 1¼ acres of courtyard and grounds overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Peak District National Park, and has its own sitting-out garden area.
The location in Uppertown, just above the picturesque village of Bonsall, is ideal for walkers and cyclists alike, with the Limestone Way passing alongside the farm. All the scenic delights of the Peak District are within a short drive.
