The Barn is the oldest part of the barn originally attached to Chestnut Farm, most probably consisted of stabling for horses and pack animals, which has been sympathetically converted into a traditional 2-bed property with feature ground-floor window and spiral staircase. It retains many of its distinctive original features, including beams and exposed stone-work.

The cottage is set within 1¼ acres of courtyard and grounds overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Peak District National Park, and has its own sitting-out garden area.

The location in Uppertown, just above the picturesque village of Bonsall, is ideal for walkers and cyclists alike, with the Limestone Way passing alongside the farm. All the scenic delights of the Peak District are within a short drive. .
