Chestnut House
Sleeps 5
2 Bedrooms
Chestnut House, dated 1637 over the front-door, is the original farmhouse at Chestnut Farm, and has been sympathetically converted into a traditional 2-bed property. It retains many of its distinctive original features, including stone-mullioned, arched, windows, beams and exposed stone fireplace.
The cottage is set within 1¼ acres of courtyard and grounds overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Peak District National Park, and has its own sitting-out garden area.
The location in Uppertown, just above the picturesque village of Bonsall, is ideal for walkers and cyclists alike, with the Limestone Way passing alongside the farm. All the scenic delights of the Peak District are within a short drive.
